The Sanctuary Lamp

The sanctuary lamp is located on the left side of the altar. It burns continuously, reminding us of Christ, the eternal and everlasting light. It is proper and fitting to offer our Sanctuary lamp in memory of a loved one or for a special intention.

Offering for the lamp is only $10 per week. It is scheduled on a first-come-first- serve-basis to ensure an equal opportunity for everyone.

First Communion 2008 Photos

West Covina - On Saturday May 3, 2008, nineteen children from the parish received Holy Communion for the first time in a solemn and spirited ceremony.

The event was held at the Sanctuary of the West Covina Methodist Church in the presence of families and friends and a reception at the church Chapel followed immediately.

A big thank you goes to all who helped make this event a successful one.

A special thank you goes to Mrs. Layla Tahan for her tireless effort to make this occasion a special one every year.
